i have a GF yes but i did not play much fifa 17 because i thought it was average and got bored of it, plus social life was high etc

Played two games on the demo. Same old fifa basically, 99% I'll buy it anyway. but i think this time around I'll wait for it to drop in price. The market becomes saturated with Fifa so quickly with bundles and stuff so hopefully i'll be able to grab it cheap early

LT / RT dribbling I don't think is really broken as you still tackle the player; holding LT and becoming untouchable is the biggest problem in Fifa 17 imo. You can just give the ball to feet and hold the ball indefinitely with almost any player. That and the driven pass / triple cross into the box just not getting registered by defenders, those are my two biggest gripes. Driven shots are very reliable but there's always been a type / direction of shot that becomes preferred in any game, whether that's the ridiculous finesses of 12, the near post silliness in 14 (I think?), players find the best way to shoot in a given title and lean more and more towards that.

It's meant to be still good but slightly less effective, anyone else got time off work and staying up for midnight launch? I may have some points stacked up to use.......
LT/RT still feels strong on FUT - just not quite as good as it was on 17.
Driven shots are still the best way of scoring, first time driven shots don't seem to work though.
FUT feels so much better than H2H, Ronaldinho has overtaken R9 as the Icon I want the most, he's absolutely unreal.

His movement, flicks and general play on the ball just feels unique - they've really captured his playstyle and he's so dangerous going forward!
This thread has taken a tragic turn for the worst.

Not me - this will be the first FIFA in a lot of years that I wont be wasting my money on!
Just had a play on the demo and I think it's awful! The passing (and yes, I rely on the "semi-assisted" passing because I'm carp at the other!
) is dreadful - I had 2 occasions where instead of passing to the intended target of my right winger in space, it's inexplicably tried to fire it through 3 opposition players to someone in the right back position!?!?!I'm sure people who are better at the game can get the mechanics right but I don't have the time or the inclination to!

have to say - i've bought fifa the last few years, but having just played the pes 2018 demo after playing a few games of the fifa demo - it's definitely a PES year for me this year. It feels WAY more satisfying and i'm just going to option file upgrade to get proper team names etc. I've never bothered with ultimate team, so i really don't see any point in sticking with FIFA this year...the gameplay simply is not as good.
