10 hours on the early access and my opinion has changed massively, don't think I'll bother this year, pace is even more overpowered and 1-2 spam is rife with absolutely terrible AI movement and behaviour.

Pace wasn't overpowered last year :confused:

1-2 spam is always going to be a thing. Fair few of my mates are loving it, even after they have played 30 - 40 game using whatever the glitch thing is to get extended hours. 00:01 Tuesday can't come soon enough!

Had a few games on xbox ea access yesterday and also really enjoyed it, feels massively different to me and defending is a learning curve. That said im drumming much better teams than me, one was 9-2.. not had that for a while!

It's tragic, terrible reviews to go along with it and a tonne of complaints on the main forum, every game is just a goalfest as well.

Plenty of threads in each section, every game is high scoring, it's not about defending being difficult, something is clearly broken with the stupid scorelines every game. It just feels like every match you play is a massive slog and leaves you feeling deflated even if you win, I've won pretty much all my games as well.

I hate to whinge about FIFA as I play it near enough every year but I've never had this feeling on release of not wanting to play because of how much I dislike it, it's very unrewarding for skilled players and extremely rewarding for bad players.

Guess I'll see of rmyself on Monday night, but those links just like people moaning as they are sued to being good and now aren't. One of those links so posted to actually say the game is better than ever but needs the keepers making better.

It has little to do with them being good and now they aren't really, that's a pretty narrow mindset and you clearly haven't read through them properly, yes people like to moan but it's valid points this year, keepers have always been retarded but this year there's little point even using one, defenders stepping away from forwards out of your control is what's killing it and making ping pong pace 1-2's ridicilously easy, won draft 5 times in a row and majority of opponents just quit even though they were scoring themselves, I think I had 2 clean sheets in 30 games or something.

It'll be good to see your opinion of UT when you've actually played it

I'd be very surprised if you have no criticism of the game yourself, only the blinded fanboys seem to be saying the game is perfect as is.

Already got a refund, I'll see what changes the 1st patch makes but at the moment I'm not investing my time into something I won't enjoy, it already felt like a slog last year with how sweaty weekend league play was

Watched some of Neps videos as he's usually very rational on it and whilst he likes it he acknowledges there's some horrible parts to it with stagnant AI, player switching, keepers and goal fests every game.

There will probably be a day one patch, it sounds like they've tried to fix one on ones and over compensated.

Threw 12k points on yesterday and packed De Bruyne, IF Bakambu, Marchisio, Varane, Herrera and quite a few other players worth 10/15k. More than decent haul, IMO, so I already have a solid starter team.

Paulinho is awesome, by the way. As is Herrera.

I get that it's early days but all the base cards look super trash in comparison to the Icons. The only players I want to try now are Messi, Ronaldo and Suarez.
