They may look trash but cards like Leroy Sane are ridiculous, anyone with pace you can just sprint down the wings and there’s very few fullbacks in the game who can stop it, going to need Roberto Carlos and Zanetti to stop it

to be honest it’s only a lot of the prime icons that look unreal but you can’t pack them as all prime ones are SBC’s that will come throughout the year? Some of the 2nd cards do look very good but there’s quite a few golds with similar stats so unless icons have some hidden power it’ll come down to player skill again, you can smash people with bronze teams if you know how to work the game to a tee.

Had 94 R9 in one draft but didn’t get much use out of him due to rage quits but my god was he good, the only issue is you don’t really need a good striker due to the current state of the game, you can score a tonne of long shots even with poor players, I scored from 30 yards with a few defenders from corner clearances, it’s atrocious how bad keepers are.

haha I am and yes it is, it's actually stopped reading discs now so I have to buy digital. Just waiting to see if I get my quarterly bonus from work to treat myself to a new one and a snazzy tv.

Nah work for a little social media company these days and no, flatmate just invited a guy round last night which meant I didn't get a chance. Got all weekend now though, interested to play around a bit. Am I right in thinking the standard is going to be pretty high?

I'm not sure, could go either way I suppose as its free to use so there might be a fair few casuals playing ? I watched a bit of Castro last night and the standard seemed quite low in drafts.

Nah sell now, more people playing more prices will go down, you can sell 79 rated players like rashford for 20k+ atm.

Still don’t think I buy this and if I did it would be in the PS but I have just earned around 70k on the Xbox :/ only spent a Fiver yesterday

Players seem very cheap atm but OP players are going for silly money which kinda defeats the purpose?

For Xbox sell now, but for PS players this time next week will be peak time. The only exception being true elite players which historically peak 2 weeks from now.

I am a very casual FIFA player and not great by any means. My level was always around being able to beat professional AI, have a challenge at world class, but faceroll semi pro.

I am trying a few games on the pc and man I am finding it tough Vs AI.

Really have mixed feelings about this.

All the base cards seems crap and nothing new from last year. Same players same teams will be popping up.

The game is playing like dog poo like Defenders missing tackles by a country mile.

The overall package is outstanding tho with all the added features.

Does anyone think Squadbattles is a real alternative to the weekend league?

Don't feel like I'm in control at all, dribbling certainly feels less close and people endlessly trying to intercept and just falling over or completely lose momentum is annoying

Low drivens still to still be the way to go.

Was playing last night, now it just sits with the flashing 18 after the cutscenes and it's burning away my trial time. Tried quitting and reopening, and did a full power down on my Xbox with the power cable unplugged and nothing.

Every player with low strength that I've used so far has been awful. Sold Ousmane after 4/5 games. Inaki Williams is far better.

Mine did this all day yesterday not tried it today.

Not sure what the longevity of this game will be like can't see it being anywhere near 17
