The web app takes ages for me to load and I have to stay with that tab up or it just doesn't do anything. Rather annoying.

Still feeling the same way and I'm about 40 games in now

day off today and thought I'd spend all day on it, managed about 2 hours before it started affecting my mood so switched off.

Im really enjoying it, feels different to EA Access maybe the latest update (yesterday) changed things for the better. Defending just takes figuring out i've conceded 2 in 3 games and scored around 10 which is positive improvement.

Can people post up any good tutorial videos or youtubers they would recommend?

Last year, it took till January for me to find out about the driven shot and Feb for forced runs.

Wow, this feels tough compared to 17. Playing on Professional, I've played two FUT games, losing 2-1 & 4-1. I've never lost 4-1!

The constant pressure from the AI is a little frustrating, hardly any time on the ball so results in ping pong too much.

Try custom tactics, I’ve seen a few youtubers who play well lowering the passing and speed bar below the default 50 to around 30-40 to combat this.

I'd leave CT's well alone until people understand the game better, I got burnt with them last year early on!

Watched a few streams last night and most of the games seemed really high pace with a lot of ping pong passing. Hope this isn't representative of what FUT will be like on it's full release.

Anyone got any stand out cheap/value players?

Wilson and King are two cheap but dangerous strikers

Driven passes seem much more important this year as your players control them normally rather than it pinging off them if you're not holding LT.

edit: Can seems good as a CM from the few games I've played.

lol what? If you’re getting beat anyway there’s nothing wrong with changing things up, trial and error not about getting burnt

yeah agree, have a quick google with what each one does then play around with them until you find something that works. First few months of Fifa are all about finding out how the game works tbh.

Each to their own I guess, but before you start fine tuning things surely you need to at least have a handle on how the game plays? Otherwise you're making massive changes which could be adding to whatever you are trying to improve.

As I said each to their own, RB dribbling and charging up tackles seem to get results for me for now.

I spent all evening on it, and it's as you described. AI constantly pressures you, with no time on the ball, meaning the ball has to be pinged around constantly. All the teams play the same way, so always the pressure. Frustrating.

Are you playing against the CPU or humans ? As if you are playing online AI doesn't pressure at all, if anything you have more time on the ball than ever.
