Yes, he's painful to play against, but he can really only go in a Bundesliga side.

I have around 1.6m in total. If I sold the couple of players I have for the La Liga side that would be around 1.7m.

I could have a front 4 of Aubameyang, Werner behind, with Reus and IF Yarmalenko wide. There's plenty of flexibility for the rest of the side in midfield and defence I suppose.

Edit:

I've left out Vidal, Boateng, Alaba and Neuer as I don't want to sink tons of money into a defence that is useless anyway. Not until I know the attack is good enough at least.

All that said I think I'll still try the La Liga side with Hernandez first.

I'm really struggling to make any decent amount of coins on this mode, what's the best method for farming coins and is there any tips? Or is it literally pack luck?

Bronze pack method. The weekly squad battles gets you a weekly reward (reward depends on what rank you get). Can also do weekend league stuff.

This is by far the easiest FIFA to earn coins in.

As Andy said, with 442 you can split 2 teams down the middle and have max chem, same for 4222. You can even mix it up a bit:

This would be pretty hard to play against as long as you can cope with 2 CM's, or just change it ingame.

Open a load of the 400 coin packs. Sell the injury cards, squad fitness cards, players. Along with the SBC challenges this year you can profit a lot from players if you are lucky too. Give it a quick search on YouTube, I'm sure there are tutorials, I've done it for 3-4 years but this is definitely the best year for it.

Swap auba or my plan for Lewandowski for depay (just a hokding card) amd you have chem.

Right back can be Valencia and right cm Herrera for 10 chem everywhere.
