Quite happy with my two squads both have a brilliant st
Main team benzema 22 played, 18 goals 17 assists
2nd team
Diego Costa 68 played , 53 goals and 34 assists
So involvement in goals is quite impressive
 
Prime Overmars might actually be too fast as I keep running straight into the keeper when 1v1.

Not liking Petit at all so far but it's early days, and gameplay has been awful.

I tried LB Petit at CDM for a few games and he's a big unit but not particularly agile or mobile (until he gets sprinting).

His NIF has been superb for me, he's box to box and scores some great finesse from out of the box.

I've picked up some cheap Belgian IF, Chelsea players, Genk players, Otamendi IF. That would be the bulk of the cost for POTM along with his actual card. No doubt EA will throw a curve ball as it's going to be one of the highest rated cards in the game.

Any left field ideas welcome.

Edit: Played my weekend Squad Battles earlier, was about 2000 points off Elite 1 a few hours ago. I might well have hit Elite 1 if I didn't get annoyed on Wednesday and miss Thursday and Friday.
 
Called it a day at 11-3 earlier, really settled with my team, Mané is absolutely amazing even on 7 chem, he has 44 in 30 for me from RF mainly in the WL.
 
Finished WL on 21 wins, I never lost by a big margin and felt I could have pretty much won all of the games if I’d played a bit better.
 
stopped at 21 wins with 3 left, went 19-8 then ended up 21-16 **** of ELO. That said i had 25 games to rattle off since 6PM today and quit every game i was 2 down or came against a sweaty icon packed team

Won't be for another 2 weeks as I'm on holiday, although I did just pick him up for 450K on Ps4 joys of being 8 hours ahead of GMT:cool:. I'll let you know if you don't pick him up before.

I got elite 2 in SB best pull was hummells.

What's peoples thoughts on POTM investing? Too late? ?I know otamendi's IF has gone up in value so might be a bit late.

I’ve been saying this since day 1 and his POTM I’ve got is fantastic, seemed expensive at the time spanking 250k in the first week but if he was that price now everyone would snap him up.

Can always try snipe some cheap cards for possible investment but think most have cottoned on by now.


So now with Kante packed I think I will try the full French team. Also managed to grab the Dembele from Celtic for 14k as a super sub.
 
@nemtizz tried your trio up top. Suarez is a beast again, although pace isn't ideal his shooting is so clinical. Finesse out of the area are the best I've seen in 18.
Overmars, very good and lethal left foot. I just tried the 88.
Messi, massively underwhelming :( just so weak, not particuarly fast neither. Just not worth the expense!
