FIFA 18

I seem to fail with winger formations too, or even lone striker ones. It feels like the striker never has any support and by the time it’s arrived, the other player has his players in a defensive shape so it’s difficult.

I use 41212(2) and the strikers rarely feel isolated, it flows well. You just have to make sure you use one of the CM’s to cover the wide positions if the other player is using wingers.
 
Sticking with 352 for now here, about 40 games in and really enjoying the the team I have, just made a slightly better one too, which will no doubt be poop!

Okay. Bender is no good. Outclassed by bakayokololo. Honestly probably better with Goretzka there with an anchor around his neck.

Muller also useful but not OP. :( Tried him in my Auba/Werner / Muller team.

In my dreams I created this earlier. Just selli g crespo to afford it.

Struggling with benzema against some opponents , if I sell de gea I can get normal mbappe , worth swapping ? Presumably both lloris and courtois are decent ?
Also gives me money to swap mooy out for dele alli

Courtois is excellent, Mbappe is hard to fault, if you need some pace up front he will do the job nicely, one of the best players on the game. Gabriel Jesus is a good alternative too.

Edit:

Path to Glory stuff out now, some SBC's and Promo packs too. They are basically OTW cards for potential World Cup players.
 
How does the ranking work in the WL? Won my first 4 out of 5 games then faced a team full of Legends in my 6th and got utterly destroyed. Next 4 games have followed a similar trend and I'm way out of my depth atm.

Basically you get skill points per win and lose then if you lose, these are hidden figures. The better the opponent the higher skill points ull gain when won etc. Winning 4 out of your first 5 will have made you play tough opponents it'l s of even itself out eventually but the winning and losing streaks are normal in the WL. It's grim for the most part, making me hate the game again so much BS happens every game in there.
 
Thanks. I don't really mind losing to better players because they usually try and play football rather than spam the same few buttons. 6th guy beat me 11-0 and I only had 17% possession, would rather lose like that than to an RB + Y/triangle spammer.
