Yeah most spend money on the game some a lot more than others and it's not just kids/teenagers. I've spent around £130 on Fifa 18 some here thousands some here nothing. To get the best experience and results money is probably required though.

It's funny because the current furore is around EA and Battlefront II, but a lot of people seem to have given FIFA a free pass for the last few years.
I know there was some controversy about gambling in FIFA a few years back, but it almost seems like an accepted thing now.

Me and my boy just packed De Gea from the single player squad battle reward, well chuffed.
I've sold up my team, I was going to revert to Neymar/Mbappe/etc but I might give something else a go first. Perhaps Crespo and Larsson up front with Rui Costa behind, they don't quite have the pace of Mbappe/Neymar but they are good at other things. The rest of the team will have to be on the cheaper side but I generally only use the midfield as a workhorse rather than anything fancy.
I tried IF Mbappe but he felt pretty much the same as regular Mbappe, and he's running on 7 chem at ST (can't be bothered to keep switching) so that's not ideal. I'd get the OTW but at 800k it seems a bit much.

More like once a week but I do switch out players sometimes. I keep the same formation which I’m comfortable with, and that helps.
I definitely need to find a team to stick with though.

Just played my 4 Squad Battle matches for the day and I've almost got as many points as I had by Saturday last week. Strange game.
@Robbo I'd advise against selling up every week, unless you get lucky and prices increase you're likely losing hundreds of thousands of coins to EA tax weekly and as milky said it will definitely have a negative effect on how you play.
He's very good, acceleration still catches people out but he doesn't fit the meta that well for the tougher WL games, he can though bag multiple from out of nowhere, outside the area especially with his finesse and win you games that you'd have otherwise struggled to break through into the box in.

I am only interested in SBC in a few months when I am 'settled' on a squad, I only did the Suarez/Modric one last year, regretted not doing the Son but that was the only one.
I struggle to see how the 90 can be better, even on his left foot he is just so clinical. I played a guy in the final of the DKT and he had 442 with attribute cards on EVERY player, Hernandez scored in the 93rd min to win 3-2, it was glorious.
I made the mistake of chopping and changing my team every few weeks last year. Couldn't gel with anything and the amount I gave EA in tax would have been eye watering. Just been adding players to my Serie A squad. Not sure where to go with it next though, any ideas? I have got the coins for Nainggollan but that would clean me out, might see what I get from rewards on Thursday.

I know what you mean, the players tend to feel very similar (NIF's and IF's for example) and I've found the same with Icons. 85 and 87 Crespo are pretty similar. It's hard to judge as you're never going to be in exactly the same situation twice.
Nainggolan is the standout Serie A player IMO. I'd have Buffon over Handanovic too.
Looking at Nainggolan's stats I think I will have to get him, sure I have a loan card of him somewhere, will see how he performs in the DKT. Have you used both Buffon and and Hando? Hando has long throw and the 1v1 trait he has, has saved me numerous times
I've used IF Handanovic vs Buffon and while it's tricky to judge, I think Buffon edges it. Don't change him if you're happy though, or maybe try the IF Hando.
