I too am considering how much longer I'm going to keep playing. I don't really enjoy it, I just do it for the rewards.

I think I preferred it early on, not because patches made it worse, but I just liked it when there weren't so many special cards. When you pretty much had to accept a downside to a card, like the player was fast and could shoot but didn't pass or dribble well or could pass well but couldn't shoot or even they could shoot and pass but was a bit slow. Now so many cards are 80 or 90+ in all attributes that matter (to that position).

Didn't you have a new tactic setup where you had dropback setup and it made it easy cuz the AI did all the defending for you or was that someone else?
 
I'll keep playing but be assured, there's no point making an effort when it comes to this game, it's just RNG half the time.

No, that was me. Went from Division 10 last week to Division 5 this afternoon using it but it's mind numbingly boring playing that way so I didn't use it in the weekend league. Only used it to try and get to Div 4 to get the trophy.

You see things I don't or just don't care about, the teams I have faced have just played like any other weekend games. I just concentrate on what I'm doing and don't really look at the opposition, I don't even look at the starting lineups half the time :p I know my opposition are constantly changing formations, players etc to counter what I'm doing but I just can't take it that seriously. I just get so annoyed with the luck that people get.

The best thing I did when I was going to delete the game and that was sell up the team and put the money into SBC and just try build a fun team.

I have got 14 wins with 8 to spare. I usually would play into the night to get 17 but not arsed today.

Not going to push my luck with this team, lols.

I try and play a slow passing game but it became impossible to play that way when so many passes were under hit and intercepted because of team press. I conceded so many goals this weekend because my keeper or defenders were pressed in to making mistakes. It wasn't so bad a few weeks ago but it's gotten worse every week and now everyone's abusing it.

My final team was: -

Prime Zanetti - Flashback Militao - TOTS Diego Carlos - TOTS Telles
Red Messi - Flashback Modric - Flashback Allan - NIF Neymar

I don't blame you though, no point playing something that you don't enjoy. I play two games, three most so if I sacked FIFA off there's almost no point gaming anymore!
 
The game itself isn't that bad it's the bad coding what leads to luck and tactics that ruin the game. I wish the weekend league had standard tactics, depth etc and you just selected a formation.

BPM and a lot of menu grinding got me that team.

I've got a load of games waiting to play but I usually only play one at a time until I've platinumed it, just won't happen with Fifa but it's taken up far too much of my time already.

Pre patch Fifa was fantastic and the only reason I bought it after saying I wouldn't buy another Fifa after hating 18. Meta tactics, crappy servers and an horrifically toxic community just make it a complete car crash of a game though.
 
Okay so things are clicking and late night the servers are pinging and I'm 19-2 yet again the responsiveness has too much say in how the game can be played.

Thanks gents. The calibre of team I faced was nothing short of disgusting. Yet again though out of all the TOTS yedders and TOTS Neymars that fut Birthday Mbappe is still the king. He's untouchable
