I like to do well and always do my best but I don't let things like that affect my enjoyment of stop me doing what I want to do on a game. For example TDM on cod would bore the life out of me.

I can't stand any other game type on COD, unless I'm in a party, it's not just about KD but does display how effective I am in game.

Been playing h2h seasons for something to do until 20 comes out. Really enjoying it, have got to div 4 in a week losing two games, getting a bit tougher now. The gameplay is very smooth and its great not facing any god squads.

I tend to play this mode at the start to get to know the game, it is pretty fun though. Just not the same longevity as FUT I guess.

Where's cheapest for PS4 pre-order peeps? Think I went off around April time but looking to try the Fifa street mode as I think that will be fun

Shopto I think online but I reckon just walking into a supermarket will get you the cheapest price. Don't they try and entice you in with offers such as spending so much on a shop and getting the game for so and so price. I would just wait it out personally so you're guaranteed it on the release date.

It's a good deal, I bought x2 £50 for £44 each a month ago to pay for COD and FIFA.

£2 difference for a digital copy seems reasonable to me.

Also, game sharing people need to utilise it more with their pals.

You used these before? Are the codes ever dodgy?

Just thinking this could be a decent way to save on loading Fifa points at the start.

I've used them for years and never had a dodgy code. I'm sure TimBrad (@GreenMint) once got one that didn't work and they wouldn't refund him. I'd bet my house on Timothy being an eejit and redeemed it already.

I had EA access so bought the standard version through that, I figured I'd rather spend the difference on the standard to Ultimate (£30 odd) on packs to met started. The weekly packs have never been kind to me.

I would have done that but I had holidays to use up so I booked a random week off a few months ago to do some work on the house... That random week was WC 23rd September!

It was just meant to be. I'll be doing H2H for a while trying to get to to grips with the game whilst trying to build up a competitive FUT team, the NIF teams are always fun at the start.

I probably did in the region of 4 or 5 grand last year. I can afford it, but even I recognise that is far too much for a reasonable adult to spend on a video game.

This year is still excessive, but it I can keep it to the initial outlay its a big step forward. Next year I'll cut it back further.

Thats the plan at least, we'll see how it works out.

Didn’t play that many after Jan. Got TOTY Mbappe in an upgrade but then the following week my marriage collapsed after years of battling the ex’s alcoholism. Couldn’t bring myself to do much let alone play Fifa!

Think I’ll buy the new one as a fresh start. Bizarre the way things affect you and being a full time dad with custody of 2 small kids I couldn’t bring myself to play Fifa.

Weird I know! Better times ahead as they say.

So chaps, trying to get a friend of mine back into fifa but at the same time they don't want to cough up £50.

How does game share work in terms of playing together against other people online?

It's the equivalent of just owning the game digitally, you see no difference. You log into their console and set it as home in account and your friend does the same to you. Then one of you buy it.
