Things are going ok for me in Fifa 20, except for the fact I can't score, I can't defend and I'm even worse at skill moves than I was in 19.

Actually now that I think about it, things aren't going so well for me...

To be fair, it did work reasonably well right up until the end of the game.

Free kicks from wide positions, shoot the ball across the goal instead of passing. Defenders don't react, attackers do, free header.

Actually now that I think about it, things aren't going so well for me...

lol, I can’t do anything in this game either, maybe I should have a lot of games with decent EPL teams to get used to it instead of jumping straight into FUT.

Problem is that gameplay in FUT is different to the other modes, while the core skills will be similar, the feel of the game in FUT is unique so you're best off learning in the mode you intend to play the most.

It'll balance out, check out a Youtuber called Boraslegend - he tutorials will give you a grounding on where to start.

they seem to have defo nerfed pace on strikers, couple of weeks ago Zaha would just outstrip them all, but seems to be more balanced now. As a result im absolute garbage again

Why would you not have bought on release day? Prices are only going up from here for a while.

Edit: friendlies today anyone? I don't feel as competent as I did on 19. I need to see where I am against some people as rivals is just all over the place. My aim is always gold 1 but I feel gold 2 is reasonable right now.
