Some of the packs they open might be viewer packs done via shareplay on the PS4/PS5.
Alternatively they just buy so many Fifa points that they always have stacked clubs. Bateson must be well on his way to having spent £20,000 on Fifa points in Fifa 21. I don't think Bateson actually does that many Icon packs SBCs (why would he he just buys the Icons he wants). But I imagine others spend similar amounts and constantly restock their squads by opening every promo pack every day.
 
Just broke 2200 Skill Points. Have added Messi to the team to play CAM and boy is he fun.
Team now plays as
MTS
Mid Dessaily-FB Khedira-FB Gosens
Ansaldi-Kante-FB SIF Carrasco
Messi
CR7-IF Rashford

Starting 451 with everybody on full chem apart from Kante(8) and Khedira(7).

Right lads, just picked this up on the cheap for my ps5 - what are the go-to guides for this? I've not played since fifa 2017

Is that for 4500 fifa points? Its all about luck now and the game has evolved a lot. I remember the days when the special cards were either inform of the week or TOTS/TOTY.
 
You can get a solid team within a month or two just by playing the game now. I've only been playing since Christmas and have an okay squad with nothing spent on packs, I expect to have something I can compete in WL with by the end of the month.

SB is awful but elite 1 isn't too much of a grind if you can beat the crap teams on legendary. The rare megapacks are where I've had my best pulls outside of the odd ultimate or rare player jumbo.

Tbh, not much has changed. Potentially way more SBC challenges and new cards, have no illusions, you will have a big challenge catching up.
In theory you are 4 months behind everyone, either plough money into the game and hope you pull enough good cards, or suck it up and hopefully you are good enough to compete against god squads :)
 
ok - so I'm on the suck it up train :D

tbf I never played FUT on 2017 so this is all kinds of new to me, so I was never expecting to do well

Nah most were bought via playing and trading whilst some were in my rewards.

Yeah, all sorts of special cards these days. Tbh if its all about luck then I could do with some!
