Poor performance, lucky not to lose but on we march. Alisson arguably MOTM for the second game running.

I'd love to see TAA play a whole game in midfield or as an RW. His vision, passing and crossing are already at a ridiculous level for someone so young.

Edit: Why does Johnson look like he's going to burst in to tears?
 
Well that was not the best performance of the season but somewhat understandable given the side we put out. Lallana as a sitting midfielder was always a bit of a wild one but when you're playing him with Ox and Keita it's even more of a gamble and it's easy to see why we struggled to control the game as much as we did. If there's any doubts over the fitness of VVD and Wijnaldum then I wouldn't have had it any other way though. Hopefully at least one of those are 100% fine to play Saturday and we can put out a proper midfield.
 
Reffing so far is shocking. Flamengo a bit naughty. Can see a Liverpool player losing their head.
Unless Liverpool up their game, can only see Flamengo winning it, unless Flamengo tire towards the end.
 
Excuse my ignorance, I don't follow club football but am enjoying the match. Who has been generally regarded as the favourite team here to win?
