Poyet was suspended for multiple breaches of contract, and I doubt the email he sent had much to do with it.
Nothing in that. Poyet expected Brighton, a team with one of the smallest budgets in the league, to be buying the title. It was never going to happen, especially with their history!

Was hoping they'd tell Gus that Brighton had faxed his P45 to reception to collect on his way out

Brazil have gotta win this, Uruguay look pretty meh and Spain will walk all over them, again, if they get in to the final. I still think Spain will beat Brazil but at least the latter may offer something up the other end occasionally...
