FIFA Confederations Cup Brazil 2013 15-30 June *** Spoilers ***

Threaded ball. Threaded. Anyone can do a through ball, but it takes special players to thread balls.

Ramos is a flat out cheat, though what makes him so horribly unlikeable is the fact that, he is consistently such a violent POS who consistently purposefully elbows people and punches and kicks and stamps and, just a git, but when he does he'll yell at players for faking injury. THen he also dives and fakes his own injuries...

PS< Fabregas is Spains best player ;)

Yes well done Soldado helping Athletic win the Copa 0.o

He was talking about Godin, there defence was immense all season, and Godin a part of it ;)
EDIT:- I'll point out it seemed like he was talking about Soldado till I realised he meant Godin.

That freekick was hilarious, awful from Suarez, then terrible defending, through to Uruguay, lose ball and fall over :p

lol Pique.

:p prefer to pretend they are that uninformed (lawro is anyways)

Are Spain much worse with diving than they used to be? I think it might be the world cup that saw Iniesta/Busquets and Capdevila being pretty bad with their cheating. But I seem to recall them being much worse as of the world cup than their first cup win and the previous years?

I would say these days Iniesta and Busquets maybe dive less but still make a meal out of all contact, and the entire Spanish team these days makes a massive meal out of contact... except Xavi, I really can't remember any situation in which Xavi has intentionally badly fouled anyone, elbowed, dived or made a meal out of a foul....

Spain are better, I agree, they dive less but they still exaggerate contract and injury but I wouldn't say they are considerably worse. That being said, I think Ramos is still bad for it.

For a second there Lawro had me fooled and made me think he had a useful opinion on Fabregas not coming back to the prem league.... then he said it was because of low tax... footballers have paid 50% in tax for years in Spain now, the foreigner tax law hasn't counted for years.

wtf was Suarez doing there, the stupid easy pass left, and then he can cross it in to whoever was coming in on the right... no, he does a bad pass right which kills the attack. I missed the first 20-25mins, Suarez has been completely useless while I've been watching.

Needs Xabi in there to hold :p

I much prefer him out of the Spain team, as good as he is, passing sideways is boring as hell.
