To be fair I think the Russian win stank to high heaven but anyone daring to question that will just end up with radioactive isotopes in their food so I expect we'll never know.
 
He would probably make a great politician, slimy weasel that can get out of any situation. God knows how our media are been branded racist. I pray for some senior official to provide a smoking gun that ends Blatter's reign but I have more chance of winning Euro Millions. The Guardian wrote an interesting article recently about Blatter and his amazing ability to weather these incidents and worm his way out. Something I did not know....

The report states that in 1997, Blatter authorised the transfer of 1.5m Swiss francs (£1m) to Havelange after ISL mistakenly sent it to FIFA but Blatter, who was then general secretary of the organisation when Havelange was president, told the ethics investigation "at that time he did not suspect the payment was a commission".

The whole thing was labelled "clumsy" rather than corrupt.

At least there won't be any complaints about cost or worries about hooliganism. The fans will have plenty of amusements between games. FIFA will make an bomb from selling advertising because of emerging markets. We shouldn't worry as FIFA will be in the safe hands of Platini by then who will introduce financial fair play for fans.

The biding process will be transparent due to the open charity auction. Ref cam/audio and TV audience live voting will be introduced to keep the fans happy. We won't get the tournament for another fifty years so there really isn't anything to worry about. :p
 
Blatter is a fool, he's still there because all the people involved in corruption at FIFA know he will shield them.

The FIFA investigation into the Qatar bid won't even take into account the evidence from the Sunday Times leak. It'll probably be a whitewash as FIFA won't want the embarrassment of a revote.

Qatar is roughly the size of Yorkshire, has a couple of million people living there and they'll be building all the stadia in a 20mile radius. Absolute madness! Such a waste of money and so far over 1000 people have died working on the stadia. :/

He's still there because of all of the corruption!!

In any other walk of life, any one of the dozens of stupid, boneheaded things that he's said over the years really should have led to his removal from his post!

Sometimes I think Blatter is like Ecclestone and just trying to be the ultimate troll with some of the stuff he comes out with. He must know what he sounds like.
