FIFA World Cup 2014 - Final & 3rd Place Play-off [12th - 13th July] **spoilers**

They've been playing long ball a lot of the tournament. Most games seemed to go, give Neymar the ball for the first 25 mins, Neymar shattered or marked out of games from then on.... smack it long for the rest of the game. Neymar has started well but drifted out of almost every game, being almost useless in second halves. Where they just resort to Luiz smacking it long for no reason and without Neymar they've just done that from the start.

Read what I said again, and see if you can spot a difference. Fergie is with a team for lets say, 10 months of the season, able to speak to them and make changes all year long. After a decade with his coaches and players..... national sides with 5-8 games a year, a couple a days at a time to train..... is simply not comparable no matter how much you think you're making some grand point.

Even if Scolari was the manager for a decade, it's incomparable, the fact that he hasn't been manager for that long. This team is woeful, just woeful in every way. They don't play together, they can't defend together, they have no tactics, awful squad choices in general and terrible starting line ups.

Even in my hay day of drinking... that would have killed me easily. I think the safer game is drink every time Kuyt screws up a forward pass. While he messes them all up he does it so infrequently it's much safer.

Didn't watch any build up so didn't realise Sneijder was due to start and only pulled up in the warmup... I thought LvG at least dropped him if not Kuyt but no, still persisted with the two most worthless midfielders in the tournament(that don't play for Brazil :p ).

RVP no shots against the Argies, Robben 6 touches and 1 pass in the first half against them....... two guys getting the most touches and having every attack going through them being Kuyt and Sneijder.... LvG still can't spot the problem.
