FIFA World Cup 2014 - GROUP D [Uruguay, Costa Rica, England, Italy - 14/19/20/24 June] **spoilers**

Suarez's definition of a hat-trick. :p

Yup I have no doubt the board will insist that he is released for any bids over 80 million. He might be a mentalist but he's still their best player and it's not like the fans are going to give a toss as long as he keeps scoring :p

Any club bidding that much now would be completely crazy knowing the next ban (even if this one isnt) could be very long term.

At a guess its only been 4 seasons since the Ajax bite , even if its a little longer, there is plenty of time before he retires for him to be tempted again and it (the ensueing ban) to be a lot longer

Suarat should be banned for a season and only let play football with human beings if he agrees to be muzzled like the mad dog that he is.

Utter ****.

If you wanna see people truly defending him, visit RAWK. Warning: You may catch brain AIDS.

Yep, people still trying to suggest it isn't a bite :D

Really?

You have defended him for ANYTHING he has ever done wrong :D

Defended him on the racist thing, everything else is on camera (bites, awful tackles, several dives) and I've said he's a ****, don't confuse me being happy he wins us game with defending him for being a ****

I can't believe he has done it again, he must has something really wrong mentally. On the plus side though it has diverted the attention away from how bad England's world cups been.

To be fair I don't think they defend him that much, the stupid dives and minor bad tackles they defend, like most fans of a club. but the big things they aren't saying the bite was okay, just trying to downplay quite how bad it was. It's not like they are pretending he didn't bite or doesn't deserve a ban.

Is that not defending him? Playing down the severity of an incident is defending him. It's pretty hard to defend when everyone can see what he has done, Liverpool fans aren't that stupid.

See my post above.

You're defending him talking about bad tackles being worse than biting ffs :D

I'm not playing it down, I'm just asking why no one gets outraged at the much worse blatant attempts to injure people some players do or how come the bans don't seem relative to the seriousness of the incident. (e.g. stamping on someone's chest, going for their knee when the ball is on the ground are probably going to leave you off much worse than someone biting you, no?)

What an utter ****

3 days ago this -

''Before the game, too many people in England laughed about my attitude over the last few years,'' Suarez said. ''This is a very good time for me. I want to see what they think now.''

Then he dines out on Italians, idiot.

Except I'm not, I'm talking about when people don't attempt to go for the ball with actions that could cause much more damage. Tackles are part of the game, bad ones happen.
