This is just awful build up to be honest. These friendlies have been against organised compact teams, why there has been so much rotation from midfield up is just silly imo. At least Roy has kept the same formation I guess, so players know they could play in at least 5 different positions.

Italy and Uruguay aren't anything special either, we could beat them if we turn up.

We're up against a parked bus here and they are hacking our players down at every chance, I'm not reading into it too much.

I wouldn't write off Italy or Uruguay if we are playing like this.
 
Let's have it right, Honduras are ****, we're up against Wigan's prime and haven't worked the keeper in the best part of 90 minutes. They've also been down to 10 for the past 20 minutes, still haven't had a shot on target.

Friendly or not, this has been a dog awful performance. The commentators can whinge all they like about fouls, and breaks in play but they're just excuses for an absolutely gash turn out.

It's almost irrelevant this match. None of the players are playing at full pelt, some have tried things they wouldn't do in competition, and as you say we're up against a parked bus comprised of the Honduran UFC team. It's a fitness exercise and not much more.
 
I think sturridge is a good player but hes too greedy, Always has to do something "special" before passing or crossing.

Had time for a cross but waited till 2 players came over before he badly crossed it out of play
 
You just knew Barkley was going to shoot there...it would have had to have been a bloody screamer from there. He's been poor since he came on as has Wilshire to be honest. Makes it easier to pick the team next week.
 
Italy drew 1-1 at home with Luxembourg, remember. If we're going by pre-tournament friendlies I'd say that puts them in worse shape than us.
 
Overall... rubbish game, meh performance, horrible opponents.
