FIFA World Cup 2014 - Quarter-finals [4th - 5th July] **spoilers**

I've had to stop watching this, not only are both my bets now clearly off typically yet again there's a shoddy ref in a Brazil game. Diabolical.

Been class? Er no. He's been all over the place at the back for the most part.

He's an utter liability, just a matter of time until he monumentally cocks up.

There's a reason Scolari looked like he had just soiled himself when Thiago got that yellow, he knows who he's going to have to put out in the next game.

How? It was clearly a free kick. Yes, it shouldn't have been a yellow card in comparison to everything else which has happened, but originally when he gave the free kick, it looked like it hindered a Brazilian attack more than anything.


I've disliked some of the refereeing in this tournament as much as anyone, but it's getting ridiculous. I fail to see how there is an argument that giving that free kick was dodgy/bent.
