Algeria I think have been dire, because Germany have been dire, let them in behind over and over and done nothing at all. If they had any quality they could have smashed a German side playing this utterly terribly. Both teams been dire for the most part.

Algeria were excellent but an under par Germany still beat them just like an under par Brazil won and an under par Holland won.

What a great attitude from the Algerian players. That's what has separated certain teams (Costa Rica, Algeria, etc.) from sides like England - fearlessness. They played because they wanted to win, as opposed to being afraid to lose.

But if I had to pick an outsider it would be Columbia for sure. They are a team whos loving playing together and they have some of the quality too

Agree. I think he's over-complicating the whole show - it was proven on tonight's game that energy, enthusiasm and drive can stifle tactical nous whilst unsettle a much more talented opposition.
