POssibly, they've got an embarrassing third place match to go and it would be rare for a manager to give up before the last game in a tournament no matter how bad.... but after this, you never know. Could have some fire Scolari and make some ex player the manager for the last game.

I think their FA would be more likely to fire him than accept his resignation to make a statement.
