Seriously though, some of the best CB's I can think of in their prime, when their team is sucking would go on mazy runs providing the drive the team needs to get forward. Nothing wrong with it, risky but sometimes you create a goal or get the team motivated.

Totally agree. Particularly against teams with only one up front, the second centre back will often have more time on the ball than anyone else.
