They couldn't/didn't beat Switzerland. THey've hardly set Russia on fire. ALthough tonight's game was great fun to watch, they didn't look like they were capable of scoring. Lots of speculative shots that were immediately blocked, lots of running into traffic, crosses into space where there was no Brazil player...

He only looks good because they brought Jermaine Jenas in to be a pundit. JJ could make Theresa May look like a great football pundit

Hansen, Dixon, etc, were good. Shearer has got a bit better over the years but still one of the worse pundits.
