Yeah a lot of them seemed to rely heavily on 1-2 star players without really leveraging them for their best potential either due to poor management or players who seemed to resent having to play to those star players.

It's like when Leicester won the league the rest of the big teams had a relatively poor season, you have to go back to the 2010/11 season when a team last won the league with a points tally as low as Leicester did. All that really matters is the name on the trophy though.
LOL - to be fair I think Southgate persuaded him to play somewhat against his nature that game which didn't help - though doesn't excuse all of the poor performance - combined with Kane playing in a more anonymous role it not only put Sweden off their game it also makes for something of a conundrum for the next opponent as to who they heavily mark instead of an automatic answer of Kane, Kane and Kane.
