Theres no doubt he will hamper them. I don't doubt that he will score some goals though. Doesn't really change anything however. The argument against Ronaldo hasn't been "will he score goals" its "are those goals worth the negatives that he brings". Would Portugal score more goals without him? Would they be a better team without him?
 
Are Portugal dark horses? Their squad is absolutely stacked

I think they would be one of the favourites if they didn't have Ronaldo. They have a cracking side. Fantastic midfield and great strikers but they are being hamstrung by having Ronaldo.

Honestly though, they should be able to give Ronaldo the service he needs because international football is a little slower which will suit him.

Just looked at the odds. They are 8th overall. Bit surprising really, below the dutch for example.

Ronaldo has someone up top with him as well. Hopefully we see a bit of Ramos or Leao up top with Felix
