Lots of big teams getting knocked out, think its due to a mid season WC?
Could well be, although apart from the USA match, England have been playing reasonably well, so far.
I think the only big surprises have been Germany and Spain? And the latter was on penalties. On paper the Dutch and Argentinian sides aren't significantly different, and Croatia are always good.
There's been lots of drama, but I'm not sure teams are going out in particularly shocking circumstances
