Depends what you mean by footballing perspective. Ramos is 21 and it'll be a high pressure situation, Ronaldo is very experienced even though physically he's declining.

Single handedly? I'm no fan of Morgan, but Ronaldo himself is equally to blame if not more so.

Plus, if the decision to drop him was about that interview, why did he play the previous games? He's been dropped on form.

I’d be shocked if Ronaldo doesn’t come on midway through the second half if the game’s level, he can’t last 120 minutes anymore but a good 60 minutes isn’t beyond him.
