FIFA World Cup 2022 Round of 16 ** spoilers ** [3rd - 6th December 2022]

Yeah, the Swiss were awful for about 80% of the match but the Portuguese were clincal. The complete opposite of Spain. Direct and clinical. Morocco will be a much stiffer test for Portugal though as they won't go toe to toe with them.

The police have confirmed the house was empty at the time.

Oh, he's being a bit dramatic then! I understand missing a game and wanting to fly back to be with your family etc. but I assumed initially they were actually there and had been threatened by armed burglars.

He's now apparently not returning unless he knows they're 100% safe? Like, he could take them with him to Qatar or get security?

If they defend like they did yesterday it'll be a great match to watch. That Portuguese back line looks ripe for plucking on the counter.

Brighton, as far as I’m aware, had opened talks with Benfica for Ramos shortly before the WC started.

Guess that won’t be happening now :(

Not going to lie, I haven't seen anyone at this WC so far that makes me think wow, how did they fly under the radar. Buying players on the back of a single or even a couple of decent performances is crazy.

Aye, a few have stood out but playing for your country will do that I imagine. Not a great barometer for skill on a club level.
