Fight Night Round 4

Excellent game, yes the career mode is over complicated but thats the only bad thing I can think of. People that are struggling I cant help but think your trying to button mash, try to do this and you certainly wont get anywhere due to the type of controls in round 4.
Looking forward to playing some serious hours on this in the future!
 
Enjoying it myself - tried to beat Mike on G.O.A.T difficulty and he's just a beast, I even managed to knock him down in the first round and he got right back up and destroyed me :p
 
can you change your controler settings to the buttons instead of using the total punch control method ??? im just not a fan of the using the stick.

shame, FN3 was a big fav when my friends used to come around, nice pick up and play button basher. I can see what there doin with the TPC, its a great idea but they should have atleast put in the option for face buttons, ive read on the EA forums they might bring a patch out, untill then i wont be buying this.
 
Im enjoying it at the moment. Just started the legacy mode with my fiighter. Im so used to the quick movements of Pacman in the demo. My boxer seems like he's been covered in super glue.

Certainly more tactical though, just trying to wait to counter. I soon get bored and try and batter the bar steward, then end up getting counter attacked myself.
 
There are 3 controller configs, sadly they all use the stick for punches :/ Can't see EA being bothered about adding alternative control schemes to the game in future. See the best thing about the button scheme was that when you had drunk friends around - buttons are just so much easier to pickup then old-hat streetfighter style combo-stick moves.

I'm buggered if I'm explaining that to my lot, so for drunk pub nights, FN3 will remain a favourite.

So then guys. How on earth do you get the camera thing to work ?

I have tried using my girlfriends camera and it doesn't pick it up. Are you lot sure any camera works or do i have to buy the gay vision camera ?

It's gay?! :eek:

No, you can only use the Xbox Live Vision Camera directly on the 360 - if you don't have one you can take a photo and upload it to the EA site and do it that way.

I'd be interested to know how well that works compared to directly with the Live Cam - I think you get more customization options when importing a photo from the site?
 
Just picked this up, seems like a good game. Gonna take a few months to get good at but hopefully it will surpass the awesomeness of fnr3.

Havent been online yet, cant wait though. :)

Nothing wrong with using the stick either.

How do I link my EA account to my FNR4 360 account, I've uploaded the 2 images to my EA sports account but cant seem to link my account.
 
Picked my copy up. Didn't work...

Apparently it's not the copy, but it's how EA interacts with the music on the xbox (for custom entrances, adding your own music etc).

For info, I had to disable media sharing from my XP machine > xbox through windows media player for it to then work past the start up screen.

Hope it helps any body else having this issue.

Do you mean the startup screen whilst in game (going into a fight) or the initial Fight Night Round 4 splash screen? The demo always froze on me at that point, so never played it and deleted it last night :/
