well the graphics are superb, a great step up from FNR3
i enjoyed the demo overall too, im not a huge fan of using the sticks to throw punches but once i got used to it i was able to knock down hatton twice in the second round
Yeah it seems pretty good, managed to knock out Hatton in the 2nd round, he didnt get up in the end.
Graphics seem superb, sound fx seem good too. Just a bit concerned with the slight over-the-top my face is made of jelly replays. Just seems a little ott for me. Otherwise loving it and will certainly buy it.
This. It makes me feel inadequate I've had loads of 'his legs look as if they're going to buckle any minute now' moments, but the bugger always clinches before I can land a knockout blow.
Wish they'd have given a full 12 rounds in the demo. Overall impressions are good - certainly vast improvements over FN3.
It is airing on the side of becoming too complicated though. Sure, players movements are better mimicked and the animations etc flow a lot better (things like glancing blows are a great improvement) - but when you're trying to control all of the complexities via two thumbsticks and a couple of triggers, it runs the risk of ruining the playability factor.
Looking forward to the full game anyway, and it's definitely still a 'must buy'.
Once you play a few times it's very easy to KO the CPU, if you just want to cheese the demo then just throw haymakers to the head until their guard is depleted and then spam jabs to the face.
