My Current temps using the Prolimatech Megahalems with 1 Akasa AK-FN058 Apache Black Super Silent 120mm Fan:

Idle: 42 41 40 43

Load 71 73 72 71 (100% usage)

If you run @4ghz your temps should not increase by much

Thats nice temps.

Think i might swap the NH-D14 to the Prolimatech Megahalems with a Silverstone Air Penetrator 120mm.

4gz is usally pretty easy on most i7's really.

althou quite a few need a jump in voltage between 3.8 and 4.0ghz, increase the overall temps

so if you want to run it cool, 3.8 will still be pretty quick.

nothing wrong with the noctua, its definatlly one of the best air coolers u can get

After quite a few hours of tweaking and changing, i've decided to change the memory to Corsair Dominator 6GB with only a £2 increase in cost.

Win win all around i think.

LateX in all honesty if you are planning on overclocking it, get the Noctua cooler, and some corsair XMS3 memory, so there is not problems fitting the cooler.

If u get the mega, it costs the same as u have to add 2 fans to the cost. With the mega you are looking closer to 80'c temps for 4ghz, the noctua your more likely to be looking at 70/75c, and it will be quieter.

And yup the noctua comes with 2 fans ready, so no extra cost.

There really is'nt much difference with the memory, maybe cas ratings, but u will never notice that day to day, only in benchmarks.

Also you asked about the Psu, its more then fine, so don't worry about it.
