*** Final Fantasy XIII ***

Still in 2 minds about this. I love FF games but the criticisms its receiving are the kind of things that would bug me.

I'll venture into town today and see if it draws me in :D
 
Just bought mine now on dinner hour. £40 from high street had a couple of quid on reward card so saved a little there.

Fit red head convinced me to go for the collector strat guide, thought I might as well to go with the collection.

Wish I'd booked today off now, I want to go play!!

For anyone who has played it (Possible spoiler following for those who haven't played it) when do you unlock the levelling system thingy? The crystalarium doo dah? Really can't judge whether I like the game or not until I get it.
 
god damn i've spent so much money this month and I really can't afford another 40 quid... tempted to ask my mother to buy it for me lol

I have far far far to many games I want to be playing tbh.....

FFXIII is deffo on my prio list, in fact it jumped to the top everything is now getting ignored while I play this :p I also have 3 weeks off work towards the end of April. So I am going to get some serious hardcore gaming done :D

I must say though I am still not overkeen on this new battle system. Its so easy to just mash auto attack and the next thing you know POW Lighting gets hit by a super duper sonic boom and its game over.

I also dislike that after every fight it automatically heals all your chars to full.
 
SWIPED - Grabbed it from the big Sains in town (little one had sold all their copies already since this morning!!!), used my Nectar points and got it for £29.99 :cool: :D
 
i was among the 'i have too many games' croud but im a big RPG fan and FF are the ones that got me into the series, had to leave work early last night due to having an accident but im just a bit achey now so decided id pick it up as im on rest days after tonights shift, only problem i have now is i never seem to be able to get into a game properly with my 2 yr old running riot or trying to join in so i may have to wait till her bedtime before some real gaming.

personally all the critisisms ive read are what i like about the FF series, each game has its own unique flavour to it... well since 7 anyway (1-6 all seemed to have very similar levelling and magic systems)
 
Anyone get lost in reading the datalog? Spent like an hour and half in their! It makes for some good reading, and helps cover the story more. Also just a little annoyance, but is there any way to remove the exclamation mark from items? All you can do is sort them etc.
 
Just got mine in the post...Nice suprise too, It had those pre order post cards in with it too, Thats nice, seeing as though they had stopped that offer well before I ordered :)
 
i also have never played a FF game before....

is this game worth it??? is it a good game?

this or heavy rain basically?

Tesco's just not had the delivery yet, or not getting it full stop?

Get a bus to ASDA with the £3 you saved not buying it from Tesco.
