some1 sell me the idea of cheaper ram then, i need convincing.

the saving is huge, so what will the performance cost me?

just oc it up to those speeds, it's exactly the same card, just with different speeds preset if you like.

nothing what so ever. its just that 2gb dimms (so 2x2gb) are expensive to make atm.

but some people swear by ballistix.
