Nice build, just had a look! You did that suprisingly quickly without help, dreading what I'm going to be like tomorrow, surrounded by things that I'm told plug into each other :p Will be grander scale of tetris... Where if I dont get a full line each row, it wont work... brilliant!

That's actually quite a simple solution! Glad you got it done.. Would be nice to do a network install without a server...

Just ordered everything from OCuK.. Except SSD and RAM, which will also be coming tomorrow from a competitor (with stock)...
Also two Intuos 3 A3 tablets will be coming :p I've spent too much..

So look out for my build log tomorrow... My lack of knowledge may amuse you!

cool are you going to do pics as you go along for it helped me out as i put the gfx card in the wrong slot and someone mentioned it if in doubt mate stop what you doing and post a pic with the problem,im sure i be around anyway as my email just came in saying my gtx 285 and assus 22" monitor is on its way and be here tommorow who's gonna get there's first i say you or me lol.

Ha, not a betting man, but mine has to make it all the way to London.. So we shall see.. we shall see...
Yeah I saw in your build log, had it in the half speed slot.. Def the type of thing I'd overlook for months.. so yeah will take a heap of photos.

Luckily OcUK seem to be handling my order fine, but the competitor came back to me and said they wont ship to me in London.. highly annoying... So just put another order with another competitor... and they're checking (Business card, shipping to alternative address)... Wish OcUK just stocked the two other things I need....
Worst comes to worst, it gets shipped to wolverhampton and then forwarded to here... Would prefer it to all arrive tomorrow though, of course...

I did my order over the phone, they don't stock the G Skill Falcon and they are out of stock on the RAM though could choose another module happily... The competitor has both, but is annoying me...
It's now the waiting game, hoping they don't take too long finding out (apparently have to wait for the finance dept to check account)... which is apparently a lengthy process...
Before coming here I heard OcUK had poor service, but decided to find out for myself... I have been extremely pleased as one phone call sorted out the issue (put the wrong expiry date in) whereas compared to these highly regarded competitors, they can't even process an order over the phone without a resultant waiting time... Should be instant.... Then a reassuring email to let you know the bank has signed off on it...
Little bit annoyed.. Hope it works out anyway

Edit: In regard to OcUK... We'll see about their delivery before I give them all the praise! Sure it'll go smoothly..

I would be happy choosing different RAM, but the SSD is not an option from here.. Not going to pay an extra 60 for an OCZ vertex when its the same spec as the Falcon.. near enough...
Just hope it sorts out... Should be able to get it at least by Wednesday, I would have thought.. and if its a 2 day build (as shall take my time) then it'll be fine, and I'm just being pedantic..

Bitching/moaning over till get the phone call from the competitor
 
aye i agree take your time and it will run first time it did for me lol,i still remember the day it all arrived one hell of a big box felt like a kid on xmas morning taking out each box and going wooo hooo this looks nice then suddenly going so where do i put this bit,to be honest its really simple to put together it will only go in one way good luck with the ram and let us know when you start it all and get some snap shots up of all your goodys!!
 
make sure you update the SSD before you load windows onto it they are at 1.3 now

best thing i ever got was the SSD drive, makes every thing respond right away

maybe the GTX280 when it worked, thats in my brothers pc now as it goes full screen Pink or yellow BSOD (PSOD or YSOD lol) on my PC, need to RMA it i guess GPU Folding@home half killed the ram on it

Heh may not be able to sleep tonight :p
I ended up phoning the competitor as I refused to believe it could take them so long to confirm payment.. thankfully it has all gone through... Unimpressed with the service though... Shall stick to OcUK as much as I can...

Thanks, this didn't occur to me! but I am also not aware how to do this! Shall have a look on G Skill's website prior to firing up Windows..

Looking forward to the case mostly :p pathetic I know...
