Finally, a real comparison

I had the big PS2, but it died several times. So I just bought a Slimline last year and it works a lot better and its a lot more efficient.

i always thought the PS2 was a great design, but looking at the next gen it seems more of a simple rectangle box. 360 and PS3 look cool now, but in 5 years or so we will be laughing at them.

Doesn't the PS3 have the power brick built in rather than an external one like the 360? That would make the slightly biger size make sense. I've never heard about an external brick for the PS3 at least.

Yeap the power is internal on the PS3. would like to see the 360 comparison pics include the power brick tbh

That is a poor comparison as it's taken at an angle.

There are better comparison pics which show that the PS3 is significantly bigger than the 360.

The 360s powerbrick can be easily hidden away at the back so the fact it has one is irrelevant.

If it is physical consoles side by side then please, share
Not the one with the black Revolution someone knocked up around E3 05 ;)

Not in everyone setup, it is not irrelevant. Plus the power brick has been prone to over heating too.

The "console war" has now been reduced to bickering about power boxes. My dad could beat your dad up. The muslims are taking over. The government did the 7/7 bombings.

Come back next week for more OCuk weirdness :p

Who gives a crap how big it is? When your playing your going to be studying its graphics on your tele, not admiring how pretty it looks on your shelf...

you are so annoyingly pro ps3 seriously my power brick is jammed between my wall and the back of my cupboard the holes are blocked with dust and its tepid at best after being on for a good few hours

my word all i did was say it would be interesting to see a comparison with the power brick included
