Thanks for the comments, its great to see people like it nearly as much as me :D

Zip, its one of the very last classics. There were one or two on the next registration plate later in the year, but not too many. Most of the later ones were in this colour, it didn't sell as well as Subaru hoped, don't know why, it looks stunning IRL.

Lopez, I think so. I'm a bit wary of people thinking I'm making it look like a turbo, but I really do think the Impreza suits the scoops and vents. Gold wheels tend to look good with this red, seen a few with bronze which looks good too.

WushuMaster, £4,800. Little bit expensive for the mileage and that, but I couldn't resist when i saw it, and it was from a dealer, so its mileage is verified, its HPI'd, they put a years tax and MOT on it, and best of all a warranty for 12 months.

AGW, pics were taken locally, first set outside work and the others on a new industrial estate in Leigh. Insurance is surprisingly reasonable, £1400 with no NCB, dodgy postcode etc. Some companies were madness though, most so called specialists wanted £3-4k. One company on confused wanted £15,000. Went with the RAC in the end, undercut everyone else by miles.

well well well andi !!! it's about time you showed it off... but I no longer own the only Sport on the forum :(

I love that colour, do me a favour though, DO NOT put a turbo bonnet on it, i will dislike you for it :)

Otherwise, I've done all the mods to my car myself, so if you need any help installing ICE, or removing bits :p then feel free to give me a shout

Great colour, great car... well done :) i'm not biased btw :D

I'm guessing Chenko sold his then? (I haven't heard anything mentioned about it for about 2 years, so I'm probably miles behind the times!)

chenko replaced it with an FTO years ago.

Thanks, there's a few marks here and there, and the interiors a bit scratched, but nothing too bad. I want the skirts painting up, so I'll get my mate to do that and sort out the marks on the paint at the same time hopefully :)

Think I'll take you up on this, although anyone else who can answer I'd be grateful to.

Never fitted a headunit before, so just checking it all and reading through the instructions.

The wiring from the headunit has a yellow power lead, and a red switched power lead. The ISO connector also has these on, can i just plug the two cables together? The pink+black and the blue and white I don't need, but is there a connection in the subaru for the orange dimmer lead?

Yep, got an ISO adapter here. Just trying to work out the other wires on the Alpine loom. Looking at it, there is an orange wire on the ISO adapter that doesn't seem to have a corresponding pin on the Alpine connector, thats possible it..

I wouldnt worry about the dimmer on it to be honest, the headunit is nice and low in the scooby, so it never becomes a problem... and mine is bright ! (Alpine 9855R)
It's also in the perfect place to press buttons without looking due to being right in front of the gear knob :)

Yeah, can live without the dimmer I suppose. Just the other two I want to be certain on. As its power, I don't want to connect them wrong, could be very expensive way to get rid of a new headunit :o

Just read through the manual and my dads double checked and it should be a straight forward job of connecting the wires together.
