Finally, I have a friend.

name him BATMAN!!!!

You know it makes sense :p

Also that's amazing, how'd you do it (in no way am i planning to spend the next year of my life trying to achive the same ¬_¬ )

flick bit of bread or small bit of cheese slowly decreasing distance ;)

finally once gained trust hold out little bit or bread and it will come to hand. first few times it will probably flutter above your hand until it has full trust.

Took a bit of searching for that in the rules, but I've been here long enough I guess - sorry!

Last year, I noticed him close to me when I was washing the car or doing gardening. He always seemed quite curious as to what I was doing and I began to see him around regularly. I bought a bird table to help the birds out with food over winter and he was always the first to land on it. With me being a lazy blighter I moved the table closer to my kitchen window so that I could lean out and fill it with birdseed without having to go outside in the snow. Pretty soon he was flying down whenever he saw me open the window. I moved the table back into the garden, but he kept flying up to the window regardless, so it all went from there really.

He has a female companion who is equally intrepid!

I want one :(

How would one find and gain trust?

What we don't see is that Edrof spent a month wearing this behind the camera:

:p Nice work though, even house raised pet birds take months/years to become fully trusting (Cockatiel owner of old).

:-) That's awesome :-)

The blackbirds in my mothers back garden get annoyed if they aren't fed lol and even wait at the back door. Hmm.. too much dependence?
