Welp, the Pug 106 is more reliable than the BMW 3 series.

Less to go wrong and therefore claim on under warranty, i'd definitely say that i'd trust a 106 over a 3-series for outright perfect reliability.

I think this is why the S-class fairs so badly, there are simply soo many systems on the car, mine always has something small wrong with it which if it were under warranty would be a claim.

I have the 02 STi, and I think the figures are cobblers. Unmolested Imprezas rarely break, and even the molested ones are surprisingly robust. But I also suspect that very few Impreza owners use warranty Direct, so the figures might well be based on a very small sample. Repair cost is probably about right though!

Basically its nothing but utter ******** then other than for people with cheap and nasty cars to say they are more reliable than a merc/bmw
