Damn, just installed this, and now Firefox wont open at all. I get this error message:-

Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point JS_DHashTableOperate could not be located in the dynamic link library js3250.dll

Anyone have any clues why its not working for me? :(

i was gettin that....now i've gone back to the official releases (i.e. 1.5) and now FF can't load ANY websites!!!! grrrrr

any ideas?

Hmm, RC3 and IE7 working side by side here. Upgraded FF first, then IE.

Wonder if MS has released a FF killer  :p

You know that EN-GB is built in from the start? Right?

No it isn't. That's the preferred language that Firefox'll ask for from a website, not the locale that Firefox itself will use.

The en-GB dictionary, nor any dictionary other than en-US will never be included. The license terms for the aspell dictionaries IIRC.

Edit:
Or, Simply disable the built in function, LMAO.

The bit you didn't point out was you needed to change extensions.checkCompatibility (in about:config) to false. :p

I have just downloaded Firefox from one of the links on the previous pages but I have the same problems with this version that I had in the older version (1.5 I think). For example not being able to bookmark any pages, missing toolbars, pressing ' nearly always bringing up the find option.

Maybe this is just because it's the Beta version but so far not impressed. Will these errors be corrected when the final version comes out?

It should be pointed out that ideally, you should create a new profile for any major upgrade then reimport your bookmarks et al.

Sounds like a corrupt localstore.rdf in your profile.

pressing ' nearly always bringing up the find option.

Unless it's happening when you're typing in a form field, that's meant to happen. You can disable it in Tools -> Options -> General -> Search for Text when I start typing.

It isn't a beta, it's an RC, and it's unlikely anything will change between RC3 and the release unless there's a last minute security bug. Anything else will have to wait for 2.0.0.1.

Right thanks for that. How do you create a new profile?
