Firefox 3.5 RC1

RC3 is now out, run help > Apply downloaded updates to update.

Firefox 3.5 final release due by on Tuesday 30th June so be ready to download or update. Im still using the RC3 and about to update final release on Tuesday

According to a report by webmonkey, the final version of Firefox 3.5 will be released on June 30.

Firefox 3.5 is the first major revision since 3.0 was released about a year ago. The new version sports a faster rendering engine, stability enhancements and a new javascript engine. It will also include support for the most widely-used elements of HTML 5 that allows for offline data access, enhanced web graphics and multimedia playback without plug-ins. The Firefox logo has also had a small revision as well.

Mozilla has been showing different 3.5 features within a 35 day period, and has also shown the new tools developers can take advantage of in the new version.

The new version was originally going to be 3.1, but was renamed to 3.5 later to reflect a greater scope of changes than what has originally been planned.

Will this 3.5 upgrade fix the problem i am having with current firefox 3?
It stops working a lot, until i close and reopen a new window.
This is what I keep getting when it stops working...

not had that myself, may as well try, but have you tried uninstalling deleting all related files and settings and then reinstalling and using it without any addons?
 
Yes I have disabled all add ons and put everything back to default and the problem still exists.
Ive not had any problems with 3.5, yet.
 
change the address bar in Firefox Option and type which site you like - this screen you show is from the file not the website address so you need to change the URL in Firefox Option then it will be fine -Im using Fx 3.5 final release just now and it prefect running also very fast.
 
It's the final version, which is identical to the last RC. Mozilla haven't pushed the final web content live yet.
