Firefox 6.0

Ah that's quite good actually! Good to see some performance improvements now over previous 64bit builds.
 
In fact I'm going to try FF8 x64 when I get home. No real reason other than idle curiosity :p

I guess idle curiosity is a reason though.

Strangely it doesn't work for the 8alpha x64 build. Adding 8.0a doesn't work either so all incompatible extensions remain disabled. Also 8.0a x64 doesn't support Windows 7 taskbar features so I've gone back to 7 BETA as that works flawlessly.

I'm off out Urbexing shortly but I will try that later ta! No way to get taskbar features working though it seems and I use that a lot :/

Mammalian right click in there anywhere and new > boolean
 
I don't care TBF.

Unless it's a big overhaul that involves incompatible with previous Operating Systems, I'm all for ditching the number versions and just calling it Firefox.

It's really hard to distinguish between FF4/5/6/7/8 and the browser gets updated fairly regularly anyway.
 
So far firefox 6 sucks, i've had..

Not keeping my logins
Firefox has not closed properly, so i've had to ctrl alt del it
Some of my picture uploading sites for ocuk hasn't worked

No probs with 5
 
Your profile is dodgy, simple as.

Create a new profile and port your saved logins/favs etc back via FEBE and retry it.
 
Maybe it's an extension you have.

It's not the end of the world either, FEBE will allow backup and restore of any part of Firefox on any version on any profile.
