Firefox 6.0

Stylish works perfectly fine....I'm using it.

Do as I posted earlier and you will be fine and all extensions will work just fine.

Surely you know how to use Stylish since you had the dark theme? :p

go to about:config

Add a new boolean entry for extensions.checkCompatibility.6.0 and set it to False. Now all extensions will install and run just fine.

cheers, worked great

Not sure if it's just me, but there's a noticable delay when closing tabs (if there are many tabs across the screen) and the remaining tabs stretching to fill the space. It's not smooth like it was in v5, and a minor annoyance.

Jus' got v6, not sure what to make of it. Not too happy that my Zone Alarm Forcefield extension doesn't work or the Zone Alarm security bar.

So I went back to V5 as I'd rather have those than run v6 but for whatever reason they don't work in V5 now. Wuddup!?

Is it really essential to have such software installed and toolbarring up your browser in this modern age? You're using Firefox so do it a favour and install AdBlock Plus and NoScript for the ultimate browser security solution.

Indeed. It is so difficult to actually get a virus with both of those installed. I keep forgetting to put my dad on firefox as he has a habbit of clicking dirty links from dirtier websites. :o

Since automatically upgrading to Firefox6.0, I seem to get occassional lags with my Virgin 50Mb broadband. It seems sometimes that Firefox isn't picking up on the required info and I have to close it andthen restart again.
