Firefox: no info on mouseover ?

hey guys,

I am not one for messing about with browsers etc and i don't have any addons installed for firefox apart from flash

Anyway, when i mouseover a link etc i don't get a little info popup like i did with IE, showing alternative text and such.

Do i need to download a plugin for this or is there a setting somewhere i need to change ?

You could try this to add them, though technically Firefox is actually behaving correctly by default, since ALT text is meant to be displayed instead of an image rather than in addition to it. Site designers should use the TITLE attribute rather than ALT for information that they want to be displayed regardless - but many don't.
