Hi I have a firestick which sometimes buffers for a second iptv and built in apps and I wondered if this was caused by WiFi dropping for a second and wondered if the above would help?

What Firestick model? My 4k Max 1st and 2nd Gen load almost instantly on IPTV and in built apps and they're just connected via 5ghz WiFi

Really depends on your WiFi. I used an ethernet adapter with mine and it worked well. It works fine with my WiFi too but then I have strong signal and coverage. Why not try, adapters that work with it are cheap.

Thanks all, it’s the current 4k max stick and it’s around 6m and one brick wall away from my router using 5g

I have an Amiko Blu android box hard wired to ethernet with speeds of near 1Gb.

I also have a FS 4k max via wireless. IPTV on both of them buffers occasionally. EE broadband. Not the most reliable. Maybe a supplier issue?

Had loads of issues with fire sticks on WiFi. Replaced all my stuff with Unifi and moved the access point, which has only made it worse. In the end I've used the ethernet adapter and had no issues at all.

Running the cables was a pain, but worth it for the now hassle free experience
