Firestrike Extreme Bench.

Ay up Matt.. any chance u can tell me ur volts for these clocks please?

Especially ur 2700K :)

Cheers

Not entirely sure. This was nothing more than a very quick test as i wanted to see how close i could get to Toxics 7990 score.

I was running a bench at the same clocks on the non extreme version after i submitted this score and my pc turned off half way through the bench. :D Not sure if i went over the limit of my PSU or my graphics cards were begging for mercy. :D Think ill ease off now before i kill something. :p

Was using a LLC of High and offset of 0.140+. It must have been around 1.45v. GPU's were at 1.3v and 1.7v on the memory.

Im at 1.45v @ 5.0GHz (says 1.44v in CPU-Z) and it gets me through benchmarks but deffo isnt stable in prime95 :) I tried same volts at 5.1GHz but it'll crash in benches and i dont wana go any higher than 1.45v as i dont want something to die on me also lol I think further tweaking in the BIOS might get me stable but my mobo has different names for settings than the ASUS boards have. Not many people here have my board :(

As for GPU i get artifacts when i hit a certain clock speed on the core regardless of voltage so i guess thats a wall i've hit and theres no going through it

I might look into getting a higher clock on my 2700K as i feel its possible with it not even hitting 70c @ 5.0GHz when i run 3DMark etc.. and thats on my Zalman CNPS10X Quiet too :p

Cheers :)

Had a bit of a boost on benchmark scores with the 13.11 driver. New personal best for me.

Looks like the preview ends in January according to this page where the ISO downloads used to be.. they took em off now.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/update-from-preview

So i might test it on another drive as i downloaded the 64 bit version of 8.1 preview a few weeks ago from that link. :p

Would be nice to see the difference in bench scores from running win 7 and win 8.1 from my 2 Samsung 830's :)

Quick play with volts managed to get this

Card did 1200/1625 easy enough, on artefacts at all, core voltage @1.300.

Still plenty left in the tank i feel! can't wait to get this under water!
