Firestrike Standard Bench.

I take the quoted boost clocks with a big spoonful of salt tbh. Iirc my 980ti in sig has a listed boost speed of 1297mhz, stock clock of 1178. But it hits 1329mhz. But what I hate is the downclocking, at 63c the boost drops by 13mhz. Totally stupid imo as this temp is so low, my max in game is 65c using a custom fan profile.

Get a waterblock on there.:)

What does K-Boost do? Genuine question, is it anything that you can't do without it?

It is for my card unless I mod the Bios to prevent the voltage dropping off between load and crashing the drivers.

It fixes the card at it's boost clock speed and voltage. So for me that is 1392 MHz and 1.206 V. With this it prevents crashes in Elite Dangerous and GTA but also helps with Bench marking.... my score is the highest FS score since I got the card. (drivers n OS might have made a difference as well.

Played around with some settings, new to this green team malarkey! :p

Mate, Your score is way to low for your rig....

I would have a look at your set up as my 980 stock run is higher than that and your Ti totally owns my card....
I would look at reinstalling your drivers using DDU as a start.

Also your 5930K base clock speed is being reported at 3.0 when it should read 3.5, so I would look at that as well

The graphics score for a stock run on a 980 Ti is about 2.5k too low.

Thanks guys I will have a look at it today.

This was a total new build but was a proper ball ache to get win 7 installed and working as none of the components were recognised and I have had to install all the drivers individually manually. It is possible that I have missed somthing.

However the stuff reported by 3d mark regarding cpu speed and ram speed does not match up with what is shown in cpuz, gpuz and afterburner.

Ok fresh install of the previous drivers netted me the following stock run

Score 12938

My actual graphics score dropped slightly but the others increased slightly despite the only change being the gfx drivers?

Something really isn't right there as Im clearing your score with a 980 & a 4930k by a clear 2000 points (14.2k)
I'd check you have the nvidia driver set to "prefer performance" in the driver power management mode settings. & windows power management settings are set to "high performance" (not trying to teach you how to suck eggs) but id really be miffed with your score on your hardware.

hope you get it over 14k :D
