First build boot problems

What? Why have you spoken when you clearly have no idea what you are talking about?

You really think I would post here not knowing what I am talking about?

Will post a pic as soon as imgur sorts its self out. ;)

Edit imgur sorted.

I might have the term wrong but I know what I mean ie earthed or neutral.

As for static are you serious it kills pcs dead. Even water running through a water loop will build charge, same as air in a hoover will build a charge.

I know killed a few memory chips with static just by walking on nylon carpet.

I fix computers bare foot now. :D

I've killed a few memory stick. But that hasn't happened in 10 years

Possibly superglue some stock spacers to the backboard and use stock screws.

I have had a few instances in previous builds, a long time ago, where excessive tightening or differential tightening of screws on the motherboard caused failed boots or shorting.

Possibly use uPVC sleeves on the 'big bolts' but as others have said, the PSU is the earth when plugged in.
