First Build! :D

On the topic of graphics cards again, I know somebody who's running an Intel Quad Core, 4GB DDR2 who's using an ATI 5750 and he's able to play on high in Bad Company 2 with random little lag spikes when there's some action. He tends to play on medium as it's smooth game play. So in short, consider buying an ATI 5750 if you need to keep within budget, they're decent cards for what you pay, despite it being an ATI card, the drivers seem to be stable, they're not too expensive so you should be able to pick one up for cheap.

OOO....Thanks for letting me know Tingle :D

I have a couple in mind to look for, from other threads i have posted on Gpu's so im still looking, but the main priority is cpu :D

Oh i also got a Arctic cooling freezer 7 pro rev.2 for £15.65 including postage and it's brand new, This is the cheapest i have found im sure??

:D :D

The Overclockers forums are very active, so it shouldn't take you too long :)

Seems as though you won't get anything other than a 9800GT from that category; it should do okay in BFBC2 and BF3. But the 5750 supports DX11 (IIRC), which will be better in the long term.

They all should be similar, he had the XFX version. I'm not too sure as to what the differences are, so it'd be best to Google it. If there isn't much difference between the two, get the cheapest one mate.

I use to prefer Nvidia, then i decided to give ATI a try and i have to say i love my 6870, certainly doe's the job.

You mean either saphire, xfx etc it just has to be a 5750?

What about other cards that support x11 and i will report back here if i find any??

Yeah as long as it is one of the well known brands, XFX, sapphire, MSI, HIS ect.

If you can, a HD5770 would be a good buy if you can find one in budget...
