Sup guys!
Recently built a new PC (well a large upgrade to my old one)
Here is the spec :
Artic Cooling Freezer Pro 7
Geil Value 2x1gig 800Mhz ram
e5200 Pentium Dual Core (sheer awesomeness)
Gigabyte P31 - S3G*
Radeon 4850 GPU
ColorsIT 500W PSU (CRAP)
*Wrong mobo sent out to me from amazon seller but I might stick with it as I was happy with 3.5GHz out of the e5200 in the first place and really cannot be doing with the hassle. Do you think I should send it back - any specific reasons?
And also if I did send it back under what circumstances will I be able to get a full refund (I have pictures of it just out of packaging and the order specifically says P31 - DS3L on the title)
Anyways I have successfully clocked it to 3.5Ghz here is the proof pic :

(sorry its a random img hosting site tinypic is playing up)
First ever O/C so just point out anything you think thats not right. Im going to leave orthos running for a few more hours tonight... Do the load temps of around 60c look okay?
I also have one question. Does lowering the multiplier effect the the o/c in any way (make it less likely to work etc)?
I know I can have an fsb of upto 400Mhz but I doubt ill ever run at that due to temps.
Lastly want to thank everybody here for the knowledge to be able to O/C this beast to 3.5Ghz. I am very pleased with it
